  5. The UNICODE Inventory Control System provides a comprehensive yet simple
  6. method for managing inventory.  It will allow entry of multiple descriptions
  7. and multiple part numbers per part, vendors, lead times, reorder points, and
  8. economical order quantity.  Flexible pricing allows for vendor cost, average
  9. cost, base cost, and multiple "list" prices.  Quantity break pricing is
  10. supported if used with order processing or invoicing and shipping.  Different
  11. receive and sell units of measure are supported.  Text can be attached to
  12. product records when additional description is required.  UNICODE's unique
  13. Auto Cardex System provides centralized ledger inquiry for all product
  14. movement in the system.  Bill of Materials functions include multilevel BOM
  15. entry, ``where used'' lists, and BOM copy and delete functions.  The system
  16. can be used to produce work orders with bill of materials and assembly
  17. instructions if needed.  Winner of 1993 SCO Products of the Year contest -
  18. network server category.
